Aayan Developments was established in 2018 in Egypt as the real estate development arm of Aayan Holding. Over the past six years, the company has successfully developed and invested in various residential and commercial projects
across New Cairo, achieving a total investment volume of 10 billion EGP.
This milestone was reached during a highly challenging global investment climate, marked by periods of stagnation and slowdown, particularly in real estate.
In response, Aayan's board of directors took a strategic decision to reassess the company's investment position and future expansion plans in the Egyptian market.

Over the course of his distinguished career, he has been entrusted with the design and supervision of major residential compounds, administrative headquarters, commercial complexes, and governmental institutions, many of which stand today as lasting symbols of progress and innovation. Today, Eng. Hegazi serves as the Founding Chairman of a diversified multinational business group co-owned with his sons, overseeing dynamic operations that span real estate development, construction, international trade, and manufacturing through core companies established in Egypt, Kuwait, the UAE, China, and the USA. Rami Hegazi is a structural engineer, entrepreneur, and business leader with extensive experience in real estate development, general trading, and international partnerships across the Middle East. With over 15 years of expertise in project delivery across the MENA region, he co-founded Aayan Developments in Egypt and leads its operations as CEO, overseeing high-rise, commercial, and mixed-use projects including the landmark Dao Towers in the New Administrative Capital. He also co-founded Al Aayan Construction in Kuwait, delivering complex commercial and residential projects, and Alburhan Hegazi General Trading in the UAE, expanding into diversified business operations. In addition, he co-founded New Link LLC in the United States, an AI company expanding into advanced technologies and innovation, and is a partner in the AlBurhan Factory in China, specialized in lighting, broadening his entrepreneurial reach into industrial production and trade.
Rami has played a central role in building international bridges of cooperation, particularly with business partners in China, where he has been involved in sourcing, trading, and industrial partnerships, and in Dubai, where he has established operational bases and strengthened Aayan's regional presence. He is a registered structural engineer in Egypt through the Syndicate of Engineers and in Kuwait as a Professional Engineer with the Kuwait Society of Engineers. His leadership combines technical precision with business strategy, driving Aayan's growth from boutique ventures into a regional development and execution powerhouse.
Academically, Rami holds a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from Shorouk Academy, a PRMG Diploma from the American University in Cairo, and an MBA, and he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport. His vision emphasizes sustainable practices, innovative technologies, and global collaborations to deliver impactful projects that enhance urban life in Egypt and the wider MENA region.
